General FAQ

•What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Debit cards, personal checks, cash, and money orders.

•Where are your surgeries performed?

Minor surgeries are performed in our clinic.  Surgeries requiring general anesthesia are either performed at Futures surgical center or a local hospital (Legacy or Providence), depending on the patient's medical condition as determined by Dr. Nguyen.

•Is there an introductory consultation fee?

The fee for new consultations is $60.00 and will be applied towards the costs of any future procedures or surgeries.

•Do you require a surgery deposit?

In general, there is no surgical deposit requirement, although cosmetic surgeries require payment in full two weeks prior to the surgical date. The exception is GRS procedures (see GRS information sheet).

•Do you have a recovery center?

Patients are recommended to have a family member or friend who can be with them 24 hours a day to assist them during the immediate postoperative period.  Depending on the surgery, some patients may need to remain in the Portland area for a set time.  If you have no caregiver available, we can refer you to The Pearl, a rehabilitation center.  Their fee is currently $300.00 per day, and is subject to change.  There would be an additional fee for medical transport from the surgery center to the rehab center.
